It has been almost 2 weeks since I posted. Can you believe I haven't been in my sewing room for at least 2 weeks, except to press a blouse to wear to work. What have I been up to? I took some time off from sewing, I have been painting, I have been painting everything in sight. I decided I needed to brighten up my home starting with my dinning room. 
I stumbled across this blog My Romantic Home and I was bitten by the white & yellow paint bug.
I have the inside of the china cabinet painted, but stopped short of painting the outside, I just can'tif I want to paint it.Painting the inside was quite a job, but it sure brightened it up and shows off the contents better.

with the white paint. I am working at the store today so the paint brush will get a rest, along with my right arm. Today I will be using it to cut fabric.

ReplyDeleteI think you have made a good decision to paint. It really brightens the room and feels clean doesn't it. I envy you! I have thought of doing this to my main area but I have an antique treadle and dining table set and can't quite come at painting them. Did you strip the furniture or just paint over the old finish. Please let me know! Cherrie
