It would be hard to say what I enjoyed most about my trip to Yellowstone National Park, last week. The waterfalls are everywhere and spectacular.
The beautiful pools of blue water, that reach a temperature of 170 and higher.
The geysers, that go off without any warning.
The bubbling oozing earth.
The wildlife.
The mountains, the vistas, the lake.
Camping with friends.
Camping in the lodge pole forest.
And of course Old Faithful, every 90 minutes.

I have sad news to report
My sad news is after only 6 months Mary has decided to close the quilt shop. I am very disappointed.
Mary's reason was, she "is not a retail person". The shop was doing very well, with new faces everyday, classes finally beginning, and a wonderful assortment of inventory. Makes me very sad.
On a happier note I have been on a wonderful vacation to Yellowstone Park with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. I will be boring you with all the wonderful photos as soon as I get them sorted.
Stay Tuned!
Happy Quilting!

Thursday Morning
It has been almost 2 weeks since I posted. Can you believe I haven't been in my sewing room for at least 2 weeks, except to press a blouse to wear to work. What have I been up to? I took some time off from sewing, I have been painting, I have been painting everything in sight. I decided I needed to brighten up my home starting with my dinning room.
I stumbled across this blog My Romantic Home and I was bitten by the white & yellow paint bug.
I have the inside of the china cabinet painted, but stopped short of painting the outside, I just can'tif I want to paint it.
Painting the inside was quite a job, but it sure brightened it up and shows off the contents better.
and moving into the living room with the white paint.
I am working at the store today so the paint brush will get a rest, along with my right arm. Today I will be using it to cut fabric.
