But it is my mothers birthday, she would have been 95 today, I can't believe she has been gone for 15 years. There isn't a day goes by that I don't miss her.

I needed something to work on at our quilt group yesterday so I dug out this hand piecing, luckily the template was still with it, along with a magazine dated 2001. If I remember correctly that is how long ago I started this.

I thought maybe the setting I was using was in this book,

I thought I would share with you one last look of fall, the next day all these leaves were on the ground.
Happy Quilting!

Your Mother does look like a movie star. I am glad my mother is still with us. I talk to her everyday. I can not imagine her gone. I am up drinking coffee waiting on the baby. You know I am not an early riser. Up at 6 o'clock, showered and dressed for the day. Also a bit of makeup on my face. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI need to get back to my hand piecing. I love it and don't know why I stopped. Have a good day. =) Karen
Oh Janet, I feel the same way about my mom. She'd be 90 this year. And I miss her all the time. I wouldn't have my talent without her.
ReplyDeleteYour mom is gorgeous!! I am so thankful for my mom and know that someday I will miss her very much.
ReplyDeleteI have that same book, and yes, I think "crazy" is appropriate!
