The year of the UFO,s

Early today I posted about finishing three UFO's. I received a comment, from someone I didn't recognize which is not to unusually but the comment was just "ATTENTION" if you get one of these do not click on it, I have spent all afternoon trying to get rid of it. I did not have Norton running so I am still not sure what it did. But it sent my new laptop into a tail spin.

Question, can any one tell me how to to delete unwanted comments? What is the best way to protect from these? Not knowing what else to do I deleted the whole post.

I was going to spend the afternoon sewing bindings down on the three UFO"S, while watching the Nascar race, instead I have been dealing with a computer problem.

  1. So sorry that you got one of those weird comments. I think there is a way to have comments saved and then you have to approve having them posted so you could probably delete them if they were weird. I am not the expert though. Your quilts with the pinwheels if really pretty.

  3. What a shame you didn't get to what you enjoy. If you go into your comment section on your dashboard you can set it so that all your comments are moderated, meaning you have to approve them before they appear. Hope that helps you out.

At my blog I ask people to tell me about their day in seven words or less. Just leave me a comment with your seven words, you can do it anonymously. If you'd rather not, then have a nice day.

  5. Wow, so many wonderful and stunning quilts. I particularly like the white one with the coloured squares.
When you click on the number of comments on your blogpost you will find a waste-paper basket under every comment. When you click on the basket the comment will be deleted.
I hope you won’t have to use it though!
