Here in the USA the media is calling it "Super Tuesday", nice of them to talk about my birthday that way.
A small sample of what was going on the year I was born.
Lockhead was building war planes.
Large ships war ships were being built.
Fashion was still important.
Women in uniform,
A soda pop was in a glass bottle for a nickel.
Everyone listened to the radio for news of the war.Civil Air Patrol was keeping a eye in the sky.
People made do with what they had, including cars.
